I have long wanted to experiment with the human form in my landscapes. 4 weeks ago I decided to take a two week trip to Namibia and by pure chance found myself on the road with a traveling companion, a student from Spain studying photography at a local university. She was allowed two weeks leave from class to 'discover the magic of Namibia'. Although she had never been in front of the camera she spontaneously accepted the role of model and merged seamlessly with the desert landscape. I found this new challenge very exciting and I got results that I am very happy with.
Fantastic! Maybe a little small, but I love the composition, how she's off in the corner instead of right in the middle, and the darker lighting works really well
